Our History

Chris and Joan Clark founded Creative Group Tours in 1988. Both passionate about travel services for students, particularly music students, drove them to build a company dedicated to providing students with exceptional travel opportunities. Since 1988, their company has grown and provided trips for over 100 schools for 30+ years. Some of the first in the industry to provide trips to Universal Studios and Disney World, Chris and Joan built a lasting foundation. In 2021 they began looking to well-earned retirement and started transitioning over their company to Chris Plummer. Mr. Plummer has been working with students since the inception of his career. Initially as a band director himself, he moved into fundraising to support as many students as possible. To date, he has helped raise over $9 million for schools. Now he will bring his fundraising expertise as he looks to expand supporting students by continuing to provide excellent travel opportunities.
