  • Who is Creative Group Tours?
    Creative Group Tours is a full service travel agency specializing in educational student travel throughout the east coast. We started in Georgia in 1988 and have flourished into a business that prides itself on a personalized travel experience. Our aim is to make things as easy as possible for you and your students by taking care of all the details so you can enjoy every moment of your trip.
  • How long has Creative Group Tours been in business?
    Chris and Joan Clark, our founders, started Creative Group Tours in 1988. We've been in the youth travel business for over 30 years.
  • Can I insure my trip?
    Absolutely! We currently recommend utilizing the travel insurance offered when signing up for your trip. Alternatively you can visit them at https://www.travelexinsurance.com/ Please be sure to read the policy information to make sure it fits your needs
  • What happens if I need to cancel?
    If you are no longer able to go on a trip, please let us know in writing by emailing info@creativegrouptours.org Please take a moment to review our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy here
  • How much money should my child bring?
    We recommend bringing $10-20 for any meals not included in the trip and $30-50 for any souvenirs your child might like to purchase during the trip.
  • When will we check into the hotel?
    Most hotels allow check in after 4 pm. Frequently you will be traveling throughout the day to reach your destination and will arrive at your hotel late afternoon to late evening. Please check your itinerary for specific arrival times.
  • Do you travel to destinations not listed on your website?
    The destinations listed on our website are our most frequent destinations however, we are always excited to explore new areas. If you have a specific destination in mind please let us know by sending us a quick question or inquiry and we will be happy to talk through next steps with you.
  • How do I make my next trip payment / view my account / change my autopay / change my credit card or bank account information?
    1. Sign in to your We Travel account 2. Click on “My Trips” 3. Click on “Manage Booking” 4. Click on “Pay Installments.” Select a saved payment method or enter a new one. 5. Click “Confirm Payment”
  • What if I need to change details / update my participant information?
    1. Sign in to your WeTravel account and go to ‘My Trips’. Click on ‘Manage Booking‘ 2. Click on ‘Update Participant Information’ 3. You can edit the questionnaire fields, including your first name, last name, and email. This is useful if you’re booking the trip for someone else (i.e. your child). You can also upload files here if your travel organizer has instructed you to do so 4. Click on the ‘Update Information’ button
  • How do I set up a contribution page for my trip?

  • Am I able to get a refund if I can't go on the trip?
    As long as it is applicable via the cancellation policy, refunds can be issued and will be returned via the original payment method. Please note that this can take roughly 5-10 business days to process and be seen in your bank statements. Please note that if making an ACH payment, the initial payment can take 5 business days to process. The refund process can only begin once that processing has finished, so it may take another 5-10 business days to be fully processed and refunded.
  • I missed the registration deadline, how can I still go on the trip?
    1. Click the site link provided by your group leader 2. Click the green “Select” button or “Join Waitlist” button 3. Enter your name and email 4. If you need a specific package type, include this information in the “Notes to Organizer” section 5. Click “Submit” 6. You will be notified if/when there is availability
  • What all is included in my trip?
    Please take a moment to review your trip description. All trip details and what is included in the trip will be listed here. Please also review the itinerary for day by day activities, meals and experiences.
